All 2026-27 Ogden Jr Mustangs coaches and volunteers need to register with USA Hockey for the 2026-27. The USA Hockey Player/Coach and Volunteer Membership portal opens for the new season after April 1.

The Ogden Jr Mustangs Hockey program operates under the rules and regulations established by the USA Hockey national federation. All OJM coaches and volunteers must complete a 2026-27 USA Hockey membership registration to serve as an OJM coach or OJM volunteer. There is a fee for a USA Hockey coach registration. A USA Hockey Volunteer Registration is free.  Volunteers cannot be on the ice or the player bench.  Make sure to acquire the correct USA Hockey membership. Coaches and volunteers must complete all required USA Hockey credentials prior to participating with an OJM team.

The 2026-27 USA Hockey coach registration number must be submitted to the Jr Mustangs through the  OJM coach and volunteer registration portal.  The OJM Coach and Volunteer registration portal opens in early April. The OJM coach and volunteer online registration provides the Ogden Jr Mustangs Registrar with the information necessary to place approved coaches and volunteers on a Jr Mustangs official roster.

A 2026-27 USA Hockey number is needed to complete the OJM Coach or Volunteer Registration process. The OJM Registrar cannot place coaches on the official USA Hockey team roster without the proper credentials being completed by the coach for each season. Coaches cannot participate with a team until they register with the Jr Mustangs and are on the team's 1-T roster.

USA Hockey numbers are issued at the completion of the 2026-27 USA Hockey Coach registration process. A confirmation email is sent to the coach registrant, from USA Hockey.  The USA Hockey registration can be found at https://membership.usahockey.com.  This is a mandatory step.  Keep your USA Hockey coaching confirmation email handy as you may need to reference your registration credentials at some point in the season.

Tip:  If you have registered as a coach, with USA Hockey, in the past, do not create a new profile.  Search for your former USAH profile using the email you used with the original registration.  Reset your password as necessary to access that profile.  If you have multiple profiles, contact USA Hockey Member Services for assistance. memberservices@usahockey.org

The USA Hockey portal for the 2026-267 coach registration will open in early April.

The Ogden Jr Mustangs portal for Coach Registration will open on or near April 5.  Submission of an OJM coaching or volunteer application does not guarantee selection as an OJM coach or volunteer.
