House Recreation Program
House/Recreation Program
- The House/Rec provides an opportunity for new players and experienced players and their families who are not interested in the higher costs and time requirements of Travel hockey. This division is primarily for the younger age groups (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U). House/Rec teams can add players after the start of the season. The USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM) is heavily emphasized with House/Rec players including practice to game ratios and skills. House/Rec teams are not eligible for out of state play. The House/Rec season may be shorter allowing players to participate in other sports. Out of state players are not allowed. Players cannot participate on Tier teams. House/Rec players play cross or half-ice games. https://www.admkids.com/. For more information, reach out to Mariko Rollins at Mariko.Rollins@uthockey.org
