THE TIME HAS COME TO START AN OFFICIAL UTAH SLED HOCKEY TEAM

The Utah Sled Hockey Association, Inc is the UAHA newest member and we are now seeking men and women age 17+ who wish to learn, participate and compete in the Paralympic Sport of Sled Hockey. No experience necessary. Participants with amputation, Paraplegia, Spina Bifida, MS, Quadriplegia and other neurological deficits and physical challenges are welcome to learn the sport and participate. In fact, USA Hockey rules also allow for able body participants to also enjoy the sport and share the ice. Eventually, the team will seek sanction and support from the NHL similar to how other NHL sanctioned Sled Teams Operate across the USA. We hope to hold practice at different locations across the state including Salt Lake, Park City, St George, Ogden and more. We will compete with other NHL Sanctioned Sled Teams in the Mountain and Pacific Region. If you are under age 17, please feel free to let us know as future plans are to develop and operate a Jr team however, our immediate focus is building the adult team. We will keep you on our radar.

The Utah team's Goalie has over 18 years of experience in the sport and recently helped his previous team as the Vegas Golden Knights win its second National Championship and Gold medal at the USA National Championships in Philadelphia, PA.
